Birth Support

  • You deserve to have a positive birth experience regardless of how your little one ends up being delivered. My goal is to help you get through all stages of labor with the support, encouragement, and guidance you and your birth partner need. That may look like applying counterpressure, or trying a new birthing position, or simply reminding you that “You‘re doing it!”

  • Research studies have shown that having continuous labor support with a doula drastically lowers intervention rates. In addition:

    • 28% of women in study were less likely to have a C-section

    • 31% were less likely to use synthetic oxytocin to speed up labor

    • 34% were less likely to rate their childbirth negatively
